The App Press service is simple:Sign-up for one of the App Press accounts starting at $15 a month. Purchase the App Press preview app to instantly view, test and share your app's pages. Then contact us when you're ready to publish your app. Once your content is ready for the app store you will pay the publishing fee associated with your account.
As an App Press customer, you can get access to:- A powerful web-based backend for managing your live content
- Creative and technical consulting, including app design assistance
- A seamless way to integrate your website and social media into your app
- Serveral options for technical support
App Press stores your content on our servers and every time your app is downloaded it cost us money. Consider us a hosting service for you apps. Plus your monthly fee allows you access to the App Press CMS tool to instantly edit your app's live content and several more cool features.
When my app is ready, what is my publishing fee?- Basic Account ($15/mo) = $199.00 for each app you publish
- Pro Account ($39/mo) = $99.00 for each app you publish
- Max Account ($99/mo) = Free for each app you publish
Please note: After you publish your app or apps you can only upgrade your account. If you exceed your monthly page downloads your account will automatically be upgraded.
What are page downloads?App Press is built around the concept of pages. Each App Press app has a certain number of pages. For example, The Chili Chef app powered by App Press has 24 pages in the app. The first month the app was released on the app store it was downloaded 714 times.
24 pages x 714 downloads = 17,136 page downloads
17,136 page downloads is well within the $15 account allotment of 50,000 page downloads per month.
What kind of app can I build?You can build any kind of app using App Press. However Apple has quality guidlines for each app sumbitted to the App Store. There is a chance what you develop may not meet those guidlines. To find out more visit the Apple Developer website and read the approval guidelines. Not to worry though 95% of our apps have been approved on the first try. Contact us any time to discuss this topic further.
Can I update my app once it's on the App Store?Yes! App Press allows you to update your app anytime/anywhere. Just login to your account add graphics, text or a new page then hit save and voila your live app is instantly updated around the world. No resubmitting it to Apple and no delay.
Do I have to sign a long term contract?No. App Press is a pay-as-you-go service. There are no long term contracts or commitments on your part. You simply pay month-to-month. If you cancel, you'll be billed for the current month, but you won't be billed again. Your app's content will remain live as long as your account is active.
What types of payment do you accept?Currently we accept Visa, Mastercard, Paypal and American Express. At this time we only accept payments online so we will not be able to accept a P.O., invoice you, or take an order over the phone.
Do I need my own Apple developer account?Yes. You need your own Apple Developer account. This will allow you full control over your app once it goes live in the App Store. To get a developer account visit the Apple's Developer website.
What if my app is rejected by Apple?Our team of experts will review your app before submission making sure it will get approved. Ultimately the final approval is up to Apple. As stated above - 95% of our apps were approved on the first try. In the event of your app gets rejected 50% of your publishing fee will be refunded.
